Job Purpose
The Brand Manager will effectively manage the overall performance of Brand, after-sales, and Marketing to ensure the growth of Business in Zambia, and sell trucks to existing customers as well as acquiring new customers.

Summary of Key Responsibilities;

  • Take the lead in gathering Truck market trends in Zambia and adjust strategy accordingly.
  • Effective realization of Special Service Campaigns
  • Prepare and share relevant market information with all stakeholders.
  • Review truck market pricing to necessary adjustment strategy to ensure competitiveness and target market performance.
  • Determine the Marketing Plan, budget, and implementation of the same.
  • Take participation in trade shows, exhibitions, networking with local associations to promote the products.
  • Monitor traffic on the website (incoming quotations, test drive inquiries, service bookings) and other digital media and redirect to the sales team accordingly.
  • Monitor the company’s activity on the website and social media and propose new activities.
  • Set annual budget and sales volumes aligned with strategy and action plan.
  • Networking with stake holders, governmental institution, and competitors for the aim of gathering pertinent information for business enhancement
  • Execute action plan to ensure target achievement.
  • Frequent visit to our branches and Customers.
  • Accurate and regular monthly reporting to management and shareholder.
  • Sell trucks to the fleet and individual customers achieving high customer satisfaction.
  • Frequent Customer Visits to create a long-term relationship with our customers in order to collect necessary information about future demand and customer’s voices.
  • Responsible for monitoring and regulating debtor days through enforcing timely debt collection for better liquidity flow.
  • Work with the Service and Parts Managers to ensure correct aftermarket performance levels (thru-put, service/parts revenue, profit, etc).
  • Set up target KPI which can evaluate the performance of PM Invitation and fleet management, and ensure achievement.

Primary Areas of Accountability:

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in Marketing, Communication or any other business qualification
  • Must have a minimum of least five (05) years experience in the automobile industry
  • Must have vast experience in Brand Management
  • Be well versed with Microsoft Office Packages and SAP
  • Must have a Driver license for manual and automatic transmission
