Description:
Job Purpose
The Telesales/Receptionist will assist the Sales Team with front office and telephone inquiries, follow up on quotations and respond to enquires on email,follow up on old clients to improve sales and relations. Frequently communicate with customers to understand their requirements and need.

Summary of Key Responsibilities;
  • Submission of end of month sales report to the supervisor.
  • Upkeep of all registers up date at reception -attendance, inquiry, in-out etc.
  • Contact potential or existing customers to inform them about a product or service using scripts
  • Answer questions about products or the company
  • Direct prospects to the field sales team when needed
  • Enter and update customer information in the database
  • Take and process orders in an accurate manner
  • Assisting Sales Representatives with inquiries, follow up on quotations.
  • Target at least  2 new clients every month through Tele-sales.
  • Keeping record of customer enquiries for new products and ensuring they are auctioned.
  • Make follow-ups on payment from debtors and search for new clients.
  • Gathering of market information i.e; competitors, customers and pricing.
  • Filling of quotations and Purchase orders from the clients and given to clients.


Primary Areas of Accountability:
Qualifications and Experience
  • Diploma in Business Administration or Related
  • A Qualification in Telesales and Marketing will be an added advantage
  • Minimum three (03) years of work experience in Telesales
  • Must have at least 1-2 years experience in Telesales of Agro and Cleaning Chemicals
  • Proven experience as Telesales representative or other Sales/Customer Service role
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota preferably over the phone
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must have a clean and traceable career record.
  • Good interpersonal relations
  • Good computer skills in word, excel and PowerPoint
