Job Purpose
The Digital Advert Assistant will plan and help build the Company’s digital advertising strategy from Facebook and Google Ads to YouTube and other emerging platforms. Perform administrative tasks, conduct market research, update the system database, create marketing literature, and foster strong relationships with our clients. Overall, provide valuable assistance to the marketing team in content creation, data analysis, and reporting, while also helping to maintain the company’s online presence
Summary of Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in setting up and testing small pilot campaigns under supervision.
- Monitor performance and help compile reports on impressions, clicks, and conversions.
- Supporting the Marketing Manager and marketing team with project organization.
- Research advertising trends, platforms, and targeting options relevant to Zambians abroad
- Performing administrative tasks related to marketing projects and coordinating with other departments to ensure brand consistency.
- Design a Digital Ads Strategy Playbook detailing audience segments, creative ideas, budgets, and success metrics
- Conducting market research and analyzing marketing surveys.
- Employing online marketing analytics to gather information from web and social media pages.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager and design team on ad creatives, messaging, and visuals.
- Track campaign data and summarize insights weekly.
- Work closely with the Sales & Marketing team to assess lead quality and conversion trends.
- Coordinate with the Sales & Marketing team to align ad messaging with outreach efforts.
- Updating databases, spreadsheets, and inventory lists.
- Preparing promotional presentations and organizing promotional events.
- Composing and posting online content for the company’s social media page and website.
- Writing marketing literature for company brochures and press releases.

Primary Areas of Accountability:
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Must have a minimum of 3+ in digital marketing, advertising and social media analytics.
- Proven interest in digital marketing, advertising and social media analytics.
- Must be familiar with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn).
- Basic knowledge of digital advertising concepts (CPC, CTR, conversions) is an advantage.
- Must be experienced in interpreting social media analytics
- Proficient in MS Office and marketing software.
- Knowledge of CRM tools, Google AdWords, and online analytics.
- Understanding of advanced marketing principles.
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
