Job Purpose
The IT Officer will be responsible for providing End user, Hardware and IT systems support to ensure efficient operations in the organization. Be responsible for the smooth running of IT infrastructure and operations at the respective region. Take charge of End-user Account setup, and password resets on Active Directory and Office 365 as and when required. Troubleshoot and resolve all end-user related IT issues within the Service Desk SLA time frame, escalate to Back Office if need be. Support end-users with any issues related to Business Applications and any other Applications including Smartcare, DMAD, Service Desk, Sage Evolution. Be responsible for guiding, supervising and monitoring of all IT Assistants working at district level on their role of IT services.
Primary Areas of Accountability:
Qualifications and Experience
- Advanced Diploma in ICT or IT related field
- Qualification or Certification in MCSE/CompTIA A+ will be a plus
- Must have at least a minimum of 4+ years of work experience in the same or similar in the NGO sector
- Prove experience in supervising IT Technicians/Helpdesk is an added advantage
NOTE THAT THIS POSITION IS A RELIEF/TEMPORARY ENGAGEMENT FOR A PERIOD OF 3 MONTHS
PREFERABLY MUST BE BASED IN EITHER NORTHERN OR MUCHINGA PROVINCE
