Job Purpose
The Sales Representative will responsible for driving revenue growth by making sales solicitations, building strong relationships with corporate clients, and promoting the Airlines services within their assigned territory. This role will involve working closely with travel agencies, corporate accounts, and key clients to meet travel needs, achieve revenue targets, and gather market intelligence. The Sales Representative will assist in market analysis and contribute to the implementation of sales strategies to increase market share and achieve sales goals.
Summary of Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Sales Supervisor in analyzing travel needs and evaluating the revenue potential of prospects within the assigned location, territory, or market segment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate accounts and key clients, ensuring their travel requirements are met and annual revenue targets are achieved.
- Partner with assigned travel agencies to promote the Airlines services and ensure competitive fare offerings that meet client needs.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales call pattern to maximize business solicitations in the assigned territory.
- Regularly gather and compile market data from the BSP (Billing and Settlement Plan) to assess the performance of travel agencies and identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor and report on competitors’ activities, including fare analysis and market share trends, and recommend actions to stay competitive.
- Identify areas where advertising and promotional support are needed to meet sales targets and recommend appropriate actions.
- Recommend special market fares when required to attract and retain key customers, ensuring the Airline remains competitive in the marketplace.
- Provide sales leads to the Marketing department and other sales offices, contributing to overall sales growth.
- Assist key customers with travel arrangements and ensure a seamless experience from booking to arrival and departure.
- Handle passenger reservations when necessary, ensuring customers are well-served and bookings are accurate.
- Represent the Airline at key trade fairs, exhibitions, and industry events to increase visibility and generate new business leads.
- Assist in coaching Junior Sales Representatives and participate in ongoing training to maintain the technical competencies required for the role.
- Ensure all activities and interactions adhere to the Airlines Brand Guidelines, promoting a consistent and positive image of the airline.

Primary Areas of Accountability:
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the travel, aviation, or hospitality industry.
- Proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong proficiency in sales techniques, market analysis, and CRM tools. Familiarity with travel agency operations and BSP processes is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, with a focus on corporate accounts and travel agencies.
- In-depth knowledge of the travel and aviation industry, with the ability to monitor and respond to competitive market dynamics.
