Description:

Job Purpose

The Sales Executive will be responsible for designing and implementing sales and marketing strategies in the Lubricants and Oil segment. Be responsible for generating new business and managing existing Lubricants and Oil accounts. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company targets in both retail and industrial lubricant markets.

Summary of Key Responsibilities;

  • Achieve sales targets, maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, and build long-term relationships with clients
  • Keep track of slow-moving products and time-to-time reports and plan for disposal
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share. 
  • Meet and exceed sales targets through effective sales strategies and techniques
  • Understand clients' needs and tailor proposals and presentations to meet those need
  • Follow up with Monthly sales analysis product-wise and report to the Sales Manager.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners. 
  • Conduct regular market analysis, competitor tracking, and pricing updates. 
  • Prepare detailed sales reports and forecasts using MS Excel and CRM tools. 
  • Ensure efficient use and updates of CRM and ERP systems for sales tracking and customer management. 
  • Conducting extensive research on competitors' products and services.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to ensure a win-win situation
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competition, and market conditions to provide strategic input  sales and marketing initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, product, and operations to ensure smooth execution sales strategies
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, including customer interactions and sales contracts

Primary Areas of Accountability:

Qualifications and Experience

  • Full Grade 12 Certificate
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–4 years’ experience in oil and lubricants sales (retail & industrial segments). 
  • Proven experience in sales management, team handling, and customer relationship management. 
  • Strong knowledge of CRM and ERP systems. 
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (reporting, data analysis, dashboards). 
  • Must be a member of ZIM or EIZ
